Hi, I’m AJ Garcia, owner of Assured Roofing & Construction. I was born and raised right here in Wichita Falls, Texas, and I’m incredibly proud to call this community home. After graduating from Wichita Falls High School (Old High), I attended Colgate University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
After college, I built a diverse professional background in Oil & Gas, Sales, Solar, and Construction. Spending several years in residential and commercial sales gave me a deep understanding of how to help homeowners and business owners navigate significant investments and complex decision-making processes.
My true path into roofing began with a personal experience. When my grandmother had to file a hail damage claim on her home, I saw firsthand just how confusing and frustrating the insurance and restoration process could be. Watching her struggle through that experience sparked a deep desire in me to help homeowners better understand their options and give them a real advocate when dealing with storm damage.
That passion drove me straight into the roofing industry, where I spent several years working for a major roofing company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. During that time, I gained extensive, hands-on experience in roof inspections, insurance claims, project management, customer service oil & gas, sales, solar, and construction. While I valued that experience, the constant travel made me realize something important: my true goal was to come back home and serve the community where I was raised.
That vision is exactly what led to the creation of Assured Roofing & Construction. Our mission is simple: provide honest guidance, quality workmanship, and dependable service to homeowners and business owners throughout Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas. We genuinely believe in treating every single customer the way we would want our own family to be treated—with transparency, professionalism, and respect.

I stay active locally and am proud to support organizations that strengthen our city, including serving on the Red Dirt Derby Committee—one of the largest fundraisers for Leadership Wichita Falls—and serving on the board for Habitat for Humanity.
